Subject: The Bad News You Need To Hear.

I have some bad news for you.

News that you probably do not want to hear.

But news you need to hear.

And it’s this:

That image we have inside our heads of how great life will be for us one day – is an illusion.

It is not real.

An image is all it is.

A product of your imagination, is all it is.

It does not exist.

We all love to sit around and wish for more.

We love to hope.

We all love to jerk off inside our heads – thinking about all the things we want to be, do and have.

But reality is a motherfucker.

And you’re going to get absolutely nothing unless you put in the work to get what you want.

You have to suffer for it.

Suffering is the requirement.

And unless you’re willing to do what needs to be done to get what you want – you will not get it.

Somebody else will get it.

Somebody else who did what was hard, instead of what was easy.

Somebody more disciplined.

Somebody more driven.

Somebody, who did not quit.

This is how the world works.

This is how mother nature works.

Not everybody wins.

And most people don’t.

They don’t because they cannot do what is hard and instead they choose the easy way out.

I do it.

You do it.

We all do it.

But do it too often and you will send yourself on a downward spiral – because progress is painful and that is that.

The best thing that can happen to any of us, especially when we are young – is to get a hard slap in the fucking face from life.

To be humiliated.

To get beat down.

To get laughed at.

To get fired.

To go broke.

To hear the truth about who and what we really are.

Not what we think we are.

For we cannot become what we want to be, unless we know very clearly what we currently are, where we currently are and what we need to do, to get where we want to be.

A reality check will do that for you.

That’s the bad news.

Or.

It could be the good news you’ve been waiting to hear.

You choose.

Until next time.
