This is a message for the people who do all the talking and none of the walking.
The Loud Larry’s of the world, whose actions are three decades behind their words.
Yes that’s right - I’m talking to you motherfuckers who do nothing but talk.
Talk. Talk. Talk.
About everything you are going to do.
About everything you are going to be.
About the lifestyle you are going to have.
About the women you are going to get.
Do me a favour.
Shut the fuck up for 5 minutes and listen because I have something important to tell you:
Your words mean absolutely nothing.
In fact, your words mean less than nothing.
Your words mean as much as an empty can of black and gold sardines - unless you’ve built a reputation for doing exactly what you say you will do.
Your words mean nothing unless you have something to show for your words.
Words make you weaker unless you have the capacity to FOLLOW THROUGH and EXECUTE!
Words are not impressive.
Silence is impressive.
Silence followed by results is damn impressive and that’s exactly how you handle haters.
You give them nothing. You show them everything.
You show them everything that they could be, but are not.
That’s how you hurt feelings.
Do you understand this or is your mouth still open and spitting out bullshit?
Look.
I know it’s tempting.
I know it feels good to talk.
But.
Talking does nothing.
Talking is jerking off in your head and thinking you are making progress, when you’re really not.
Work is the only thing that creates progress.
Doing the work is the ONLY THING.
Stop opening your mouth and talking about everything you’re going to do.
Stop telling people about all the money you’re going to have.
You don’t have any of it and you’re not going to get any of it, when all you do is fucking talk about it.
While you are running your mouth and trying to impress everyone, someone else is working their ass off in silence.
Someone else is creating RESULTS.
That is a promise.
Someone else is leaving you in the dust because you haven’t moved - you’re standing around, bouncing up and down, telling your mum about how fast you’re going to run.
You’re creating nothing - just noise.
Let that sink into your empty head.
If you have no reputation and nothing to show – your words mean absolutely nothing.
Words only mean something when they come out of someone who has a reputation for doing what they say.
If Billy Badass, the world class businessman, tells you he is going to make $10,000,000 next month - you believe him, because he walks the walk.
If Loud Larry, the nobody, tells you he is going to make $10,000 next month - you laugh because he has no reputation and you secretly don’t want him to pull it off anyway, because you’re a loser too.
Therefore, if you are a nobody - shut your mouth and work to become somebody.
If you have nothing, why are you talking about what you are going to have?
You should shut your mouth and get to work instead.
Then you might actually get somewhere.
In this world, you have the real dealers and you have everyone else.
You can tell the real dealers apart from the pretenders because the real dealers always have crazy eyes.
They don’t come across as normal people because they are not normal people - they are real dealers and they live in their own world.
You never hear from the real dealers and you don’t know they exist unless you’re one of them.
Why?
They are working their ass off in complete silence and they are making it happen.
As for everyone else, they’re just being everyone else.
Everyone else, loves to talk about what they’re going to do.
Everyone else, loves to talk about who they’re going to be.
Everyone else, loves to talk about how much money they’re going to have.
That’s exactly why everyone else gets Bitter Sweet Fuck All.
None of them back their words with actions.
None of them back their “ambition” with effort.
Talk about your ambition and that makes it crystal clear that you don’t know what ambition is.
If you had ambition, you would not have time to open your mouth because you would be working.
If you had ambition you would not be complaining because you would not have time to complain.
Ambition is what the homeless kid from the slums has when he fights like a wild dog to escape poverty and build a better life.
Ambition is a Pillar of Greatness.
Ambition is not how many followers you have on Instagram.
Ambition is not your goals and it is not what you think you will achieve.
It’s not how special your mum thinks you are.
Ambition is what you actually do.
Ambition is what you have when you have nothing - that’s what ambition is.
It’s the voice that tells you there is no giving in, no stopping - until you have exactly what you want.
Most people think they have ambition.
They THINK.
Most do not.
Most just want to talk.
That is exactly why almost all of them will end up with nothing and be a nobody.
The more you talk the less likely it is that you will get what you want.
Why?
When you talk about it all you are doing is jerking off in your head.
You’re not moving the needle.
You’re not getting closer to your goals.
You’re not in the real world creating real tangible results.
You’re in your fucking head, daydreaming instead.
It’s the law of cause and effect.
When you talk, nothing happens.
When you work, things happen.
When you talk, you think things are happening.
When you work, things actually are happening.
Do you understand?
It is easy in the moment to talk about everything you are going to do.
It feels good too.
Picturing it all in your head.
Imagining all of it.
When things are easy and you are comfortable, you can afford to talk.
You think you can afford to fantasise.
The kid in the slums struggling to survive, knows he cannot afford to fantasise - so he does not fantasise.
You think you can afford to - but you cannot.
You cannot afford to because you are running out of time.
The more time you spend talking, the less time you spend working.
The less time you spend working and the more time you spend talking – the further away from your goals you will drift.
So shut your fucking mouth and get to work.
Say nothing.
Do something.
Produce real results and speak through your work.
Build a reputation for creating results.
Have something to show before you have something to say.
Once you have results you can talk, but you shouldn’t.
You should shut your ego down.
You should stay silent.
You should aim for the next level.
You can dream or you can do and it’s all up to you.
