The gym aka the war room has One Single Purpose. It has no purpose other than this One Single Purpose. That purpose is to strengthen your body and your mind. The gym is for hard work and focus. The gym is for letting out all the stress inside your body. It is for getting a sweat on, working your ass off and building yourself into something better. It is for losing yourself in the moment and forgetting about all of your problems. It is a place you can go when your life is a mess - to clear your head and get focused. It turns weak people into strong people It is a gift. You go there to get better and build your body into a piece of art. You do not go there to socialise with your friends and waste time talking. You do not go there to pretend you are getting work done because that is wasting time. I see these people every time I train. They never change. They always look the same. These are the people who stand around talking without a single drop of sweat on their body. Do not expect to change your body if that is you. It won’t happen. The gym used to be a place where you went to work hard and build your body. A place where you used pain to become better both mentally and physically. Now they are air-conditioned “health” clubs filled with morons who get dressed up like it’s a fucking dinner date. Their intense workouts consist of talking, selfies and wasting time. This will get you no results. It will just waste your time. If you want to make progress then you need to forget the outside world exists and you need to actually train. And you need to train hard. Invest in the best headphones you can afford, blast your music and completely ignore everything happening around you. Good music is key. Once you have that good music pumping, you and the weight are the only thing that exist. You are on another planet. Planet Progress. You need to be on Planet Progress because you will not get better by being a lazy fuck. It is not that easy. It does not work that way. If you are going to train with other people then train with people who are killers. People who are at the gym to work hard and get better. People who will push you past what you thought possible. If you cannot train with people like that, don’t train with other people. Train alone. You cannot and will not find a way around the work. Between you and the body you want there are only more reps to be done. That’s it. When you are talking you are not focusing. When you are not focusing you are not getting the work done effectively. Good work takes focus. So get focused. Don’t even crack a smile. FOCUS. You have to work hard and push your body past what you thought possible if you want to make progress. You have to go the extra mile and do the extra rep. Every workout is an opportunity to do more reps and lift more weight. Every time you set foot inside the gym you have the opportunity to make yourself better. Apply this mindset constantly and you will become a beast. You will completely transform your body and mind.
