Subject; How to Take What You Want.
Today I want to talk about the principle of uneven distribution, also known as the Pareto Principle or 80/20 rule. Something I think is important to understand because it applies to everything and we will discuss how it specifically applies to business/making money.
One of the most common reasons people don’t pursue an opportunity to make money or engage in business is;
“The market is saturated! Someone’s already doing it! There’s too much competition!”
Look..everything is fucking saturated in 2023. Nobody wants to work a normal job anymore and jesus who can blame them. Digging trenches in the sun, getting covered in shit, stacking supermarket shelves and dealing with Karen cunts. Most people are very aware that they have better options, unless they live under a rock.
So everyone is trying to make money online. Ecomm. Copywriting. Marketing. Social Media. Online Courses. Etc, etc, etc. They are exercising the obvious options and so the ground floor of all these money making methods is more crowded than a fucking thai shopping centre in the middle of summer. Which makes most people think the above statement - there is too much competition.
But guess what?
There is in reality, zero competition. If you are committed to being Elite at what you have chosen to do. If you live and breathe it. If you will do whatever it takes to be the best and win - as nothing else will make it work. Yet true commitment and intense focus is very uncommon.
Most people are LAZY and will not do what it takes. All they will do is what the majority of people will do; jerk off over some idea, attempt a few different projects, and then give up because nothing worked as fast as they thought it would. So they stay the same while a small minority continue to persist and eventually achieve the desired outcome.
The average person has;
- Zero patience to stick it out.
- Zero resolve to push through pain.
- Zero discipline to do the simple, boring, important work.
- Zero ability to THINK their way through problems and find smart solutions.
So they go back to working at Kmart stacking shelves and complaining that life isn’t fair, while people like me continue to run away with buckets of money because they did what the rest were not willing to do, and refused to give up when nothing seemed to make sense.
I have been covered in human shit. I have collapsed from heat stroke. I have stacked shelves. I have cleaned toilets. I have swam through thousands of dead fish, swallowing their shit and rotten flesh. I have done everything most people don’t want to do, and I have learnt through experience that you will get what you want if you can just persist and be smart.
People end up in these horrible jobs because they can’t grasp reality and deal with it as it is, push their desires out into it, and deal with it effectively. Everything is cause and effect, it’s not as complicated as you think - but learning how to create things is a painful, frustrating process.
Life is not easy when you don’t know how to play the game. It really sucks when you don’t know how the game works. You bang your head into every wall. Make mistakes. You feel like you are chasing your tail and getting nowhere. Money seems like it is impossible to make, and all you want to do is give up - UNTIL IT WORKS. Then you realise it was all simpler than you thought, which is true for most things in life.
We are taught NOTHING growing up, except how to be a compliant slave for a system that has us recorded as a number on some database. If people were taught about life and how to make the most of it, modern society would collapse because there would be nobody to maintain the infrastructure which holds it up.
The world is not the same as it was 50 years ago. Back then learning a trade, settling down with a girl and buying a house was enough to be considered well off. But the game has changed 1000% since then. You now live in the information age where digital systems dominate and where Governments want more control than ever - so you must adapt, learn the skills and move with the times.
People are still living like we are in 1980. This is 2022; the entire board of life has changed. That house you wanted for the wife and kids? That’ll be $800,000 principle + massive interest and most of your working adult life to pay for. Welcome to the new world where you are rich or poor, free or a slave. There’s no in-between. You need to learn the secrets of the universe and leverage them before it’s too late, before you end up old, broke and stuck in some nightmare of a life.
Now unless you came up with rich parents or the right social circles, your thinking is guaranteed to be all messed up and riddled with viruses designed to keep you down. Understand that the programming in your brain and how you view the world is what keeps you poor - it is what makes you say things like…
“But, but, the market is saturated and there is so many people already doing it - I have no chance”
That’s how poor people think, and it is precisely why poor people are poor. Their thought process is infected with mind viruses implanted by society for the purposes of keeping them stupid. It kept me broke for many years. The only way I fixed it was by surrounding myself with millionaires and absorbing their thought processes; aka - filling the mind with abundance, confidence, energy and POWER.
No market is ever saturated to the point where you cannot make money. There is always a way, always an angle, always an opportunity to be better. It is the Pareto Principle - 20% make 80% of the money, while 80% make only 20% of the money, or nothing at all.
The same universal principle applies to my profession. I am a sales professional that carves out my seat in the top 20% of whatever team I belong to. I make more money than the other 80% because I do what they are not willing to do and I will absolutely not tolerate anything less than the absolute best from myself - otherwise I can’t sleep well at night.
Good sleep = I conquered and did more than everyone else
Bad sleep = I gave into weakness and somebody else is outworking me
When I got into what I was doing, I had the EXACT same shit going through my mind because it was before I understood how the game works. I thought to myself…
”boy, I don’t know if I can compete in this domain…I don’t know X, I don’t know Y, I’ve never done this or that - oh NO, what if it doesn’t work out!”
But I slapped myself in the face and made it happen despite the bullshit thoughts going through my head. Then guess what? Now I wake up, drink coffee, and extract money from the internet on a daily basis - I achieved my goal. Which is exactly what you need to do if you are looking at an opportunity and thinking that there is too much competition to compete.
Fuck the competition.
If you BELIEVE you can make money doing this thing, if you want it more than you want sleep or sex, and if you feel good about it - then go for it man. You have nothing to lose except some time and energy, you have everything to gain.
That is my advice to anyone overthinking an opportunity because a lot of other people are doing it. Just do it. Make the decision to be Elite at whatever it is you are doing. Be better than everyone else. Work harder, longer hours. Get up earlier. Read the books. Practice with more intensity.
Think about it all the time and don’t give up.
You will get what you want if you do that.
I fucking promise.
When a man genuinely wants something and will do whatever it takes to get it, guess what? He will get what he desires without fail, every time. That’s how it works. But you have to genuinely want it. You have to taste it in your month before you go to sleep. You have to feel it in your body, and you have to believe you can make it happen.
18 months ago I was swimming in dead fish, freezing my nuts off, getting paid a chump wage - I was working in brutal conditions, 14 hours a day, doing the toughest work I have done in my entire life. It was immensely fulfilling and challenging, but it was also unhealthy and unsustainable for my body.
Now my bank account is 5 x what it was previously and I earn double the money doing half the work. There is a custom Harley Davidson on my driveway that was paid for in cash, without batting an eye. I work when I want, how I want, and nobody bothers me. I owe nobody anything. My skills can make me money anywhere in the world. I will never punch a time clock again because I’d 100% rather fuckin die.
Life is a totally different reality from 18 months ago, but only because I desired it more than anything else in the entire universe. There was nothing I wasn’t willing to do, to get what I have now, because I didn’t have a choice. I was broke. I had an idea and it was either going to work or I was going to eat shit big time. So I literally squeezed my dream out of the Universe and made it into the life I now live each day. I learnt how to be an alchemist, and I changed my world.
My friend, two years ago I was a BUM pretending to be a blog artist and living out of a shoebox on a beach. I was intelligent, but I was not smart - and you need to be smart if you want to really change your life. There’s plenty of intelligent bums out there, I was one of them. Brains and balls are the only thing that make shit happen, because without action all you have is nothing.
Saturated market? Shut up. My market is saturated, and it made zero difference to the success I’ve had. Because I am a winner. I did what it took, I bet on myself, I ignored every shitstain that had something to say that I didn’t want to hear. I got what I wanted because I TOOK it without remorse.
You can do the same, and I hope you will, because then you will also realise how powerful you are. Then you will sit back and think…
“Geez, that was easy. What can I do if I REALLY try!?”
