A Message From The Gods of Destiny.

From The Desk of Maverick Brenton.

From The Desk of Maverick Brenton.
Subject: The Real Price of Living Your Life In Fear.

I Want You To Imagine Something With Me Right Now..

Something that is not nice.

Something scary.

Something evil.

Something insidious that will rattle you to your bones if you pay attention and read it deeply.

If you are distracted, stop being distracted.
**
Sit down in a quiet place,** where you are free from distraction.

If there are people around you, go somewhere you can be alone.

If you cannot be alone - wait until you can be alone.

Why?

This is an important message.

A message I have been asked to give you.

You need to pay close attention.

Forget the world outside yourself now.

Nothing exists but you and my words.

Silence your mind and steady your breath.

Listen as if your life depends on my words.

You must listen closely to my words and you must lower your guard, so each word of mine, may strike it’s target with ruthless precision.

Listen closely and listen carefully.

My words are my sword.

My words are the sword of truth.

May my words fall down upon you, with the **weight of your worst nightmare.
**
May my words, slice open the throat of your fear and drain all of it’s power over you.

May my words, blessed by the gods - hit their mark.

Imagine this:

You are laying on your deathbed and you are going to die - very soon.

Your body is cold and you are weak - almost unable to move at all.

You can feel death closing in on you.

It’s a strange sensation and you don’t fear it because you know you cannot change it.

Your time is up.

You don’t fear your approaching death.

You don’t fear the descent down into the darkness.

You do fearsomething though, something much worse.

What is it?

The Soul Crushing Weight of Regret.

Maybe you really are afraid of your death..

Maybe you really are scaredof what comes once the lights go out…

But.

Those feelings are beneath a mountain of regret - so far beneath it, that you cannot feel them at all

You wasted your entire life, pleasing other people.

You wasted your entire life, living in a way you didn’t even enjoy.

You wasted your entire life, never going after what you truly wanted.

You wasted your entire life, always playing it safe.

The gods offered you chances for glory, they offered you many.

Did you take them?

Did you cease those moments?

No.

You held back.

You let fear overcome you.

You let resistance beat you.

Now, the gods have no more to give you.

You wasted their precious gift, the gift of life.

Now you are finished.

Now it is time to die.

It is time to die the death of a coward who run from his destiny.

A coward who never faced his demons.

A coward who never become who he was meant to become.

All those incredible things you could have done.

All the experiences you could have had.

The businesses you didn’t start.

The art you didn’t create.

The dreams you let die.

It’s all gone now and there is no way of going back - it is gone for eternity.

Do not try to convince yourself you did other worthwhile things instead.

Do not attempt to numb the intense pain of your regret.

Don’t lie to yourself and tell yourself you had a good life anyway.

You didn’t.

You know you didn’t.

You had nothing but the scraps - the scraps of your full potential.

You failed.

You failed the gods.

You failed yourself.

Not because you were never victorious.

Not because you fell down, trying to **be victorious.
**
No.

You failed because you never tried at all.

Now you will die.

You will die with everything you could have been, still inside you.

It is going to be torture.

It is going to feel like the worst hell your mind can possibly imagine.

This is the genocide of your dreams.

This is the mass murder of the gifts you never used.

It is everything you had the potential to be, dying inside you - while you are forced to watch it burn in agony and scream for mercy.

You will feel all of it.

There will be no escape from this pain.

This is your true self bringing revenge upon you.

Revenge for never embracing it as your own.

Revenge for hiding it from the world.

It has been locked away inside you, for your entire life.

You never had the balls to let it out and show the world who you are.

Now it’s your turn to suffer.

You put off your life until tomorrow, for your entire life.

Eventually you ran out of tomorrows and here you are - at the end of your life.

You are about to enter into the eternal darkness.

You always told yourself you would eventually do the things you really wanted to do.

You told yourself you would do it soon.

When you were ready.
**
When you felt** the time was right.

You put everyone else first and you never thought about yourself.

You let the world tread on you.

You told yourself:

Just one more day of video games.

Just one more month of playing it safe.

Just one more year of not doing what you really want.

All that bullshit adds up.

Those hours, they add up.

It all consists of time – your fucking time.

Time that runs out every day.

Only now that it’s too late, do you finally understand.

You finally see that tomorrow never came because tomorrow never existed.

Tomorrow was a fairy tale.

A fairy tail of the life you wanted but never had the fucking balls to go after.

Now you see it.

Now that there are no tomorrow’s left.

Now you see tomorrow never existed and it never will exist.

You know what does exist?

Right now.

Right fucking now.

For you though, you who have always put off what you wanted to do until tomorrow.

Even right now is too late for you.

Right now it’s time to die.

It’s going to hurt.

It’s going to feel terrible.

You can do nothing to escape it.

You are finished.

Tomorrow Does Not Exist:

How Does it Feel to Imagine This?

Does it Feel Good?

This is not just a story.

It’s not just a message.

This will become your reality if you do what most people do.

This is how most people die.

They die with everything they had the potential to be, still inside them.

I hope my words hurt you.

I hope my words terrified you.

I hope my words made you want to cry.

I hope they hit their mark.

DO NOT put your life off until tomorrow.

DO NOT tell yourself you have time.

You don’t have time.

When you say you have time what you are really saying is you can do it in the future.

Guess what?

The future does not exist.

Tomorrow does not exist.

Right now is all you have.

Right now is all that exists.

This will never change.

You will never change unless you change right fucking now.

Right now is the future.

Right now is the past.

Right now is all there is.

If you are like most people, you will just read this and go back to doing the same bullshit you always do.

The only thing that will wake you up is massive pain.

You won’t change.

You still think you have time.

You won’t change until life punches you in the fucking mouth, if you are lucky enough for that to happen.

For a small minority, the cold steel of my words will strike their hearts.

For a few, my words will hit their mark.

They will know exactly where I am coming from.

They will go after what they want.

They will stop putting their life off until tomorrow.

As a result, everything they wanted to do tomorrow will be done today and they will get what they want.

What are you going to do?

Are you going to read this, then kick your feet up?

Are you going to keep putting off your life until the stars align for you?

Or.

Are you going to realise that tomorrow does not exist?

The choice is yours.

I’ve made mine.

I don’t care when death comes for me.

I’ll have a drink with him as we walk down into the darkness together.

I’ll share all my stories with him - the stories of my adventures.

For I have lived fully and I will keep living fully until death comes knocking at my door.

May you have the courage to do the same.

Until Next Time.
